How to Get Started working with a Wellness Coach

It is in the best interest of you, the client, that a minimum of a 3 month contract is agreed upon. Meaningful changes happen over time as you learn how to sustain changes over a lifetime. You can expect success in changing lifetime habits and behaviors, as goals are created and revised with constant mentoring and support by the wellness coach.
The work involved in understanding the process of change and the work necessary for the improvement of one's overall quality of life cannot happen without allowing for the element of TIME.

Change begins with…

Step A
When a client is unsure if the coaching process is the right direction for his/her journey,
IFC will conduct a 20 minute orientation session with the client as a way to introduce the process of wellness coaching, including an over view of the coaching process, time requirements, fee schedule, and objectives of coaching program. This step is optional. There is a $15 fee for the orientation session.

Step 1: Commitment
Once the client has committed to the program, a health and wellness Client Assessment Questionnaire will be completed by the client. The personal wellness assessment questionnaire is designed to identify client patterns of behavior and habits, client strengths, areas of improvement, and provides the coach with an overall picture of a client's health and wellness. The initial 60-90 minute session will be scheduled at this time. Contact Institute For Change for fee schedule.

Step 2: Creating a Vision
Through non judgmental inquiry, the wellness coach will gathering client information that when added to the results of the health and wellness questionnaire taken by the client, will provide the coach with a clear picture of the client's health and wellness. A WELLNESS vision will be created by the client as well as the formulation of 3 month goals within this first session. Weekly goals will be established and the next session will be scheduled at this time.

Step 3: Working the Vision
Weekly or bi weekly sessions will be conducted by the coach with each session focusing on reviewing goals, discussion of client success, establishing new goals and a plan of action, all while keeping the end goals in mind.

Step 4: Success!
The client will experience weekly success and a feeling of accomplishment while the coach supports and celebrates each step the client takes towards lifelong changes in health and wellness behaviors.

Call or write Institute For Change to schedule your success! It's time for a change.
